ECON 530. MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS. This course introduces the economic way of thinking in addressing strategic issues in business. The goal is to see the usefulness of economics as part of the overall management of an enterprise. Both microeconomic and macroeconomic topics will covered, including markets and prices, entrepreneurship, business organization, competition and monopoly, bureaucracy, money and banking, inflation, and business cycles. Three hours.
