ECON 456. FINANCIAL MARKETS AND INSTITUTIONS. A study of the nature, origin, working and development of financial markets and institutions. Topics include the markets for and institutions offering credit, equities, and derivatives. Prerequisite: Economics 101 and 102. Spring semester only, three hours.
