Description
COMP 448. COMPUTER SECURITY. An overview of software security flaws a programmer should be careful to avoid. Students will learn how to avoid these flaws, as well as practice finding them in existing code. Additionally, better alternatives will be explored which will allow students to make better programs that are less vulnerable to security exploits. Prerequisite: Computer Science 230; Corequisite: Either Computer Science 325 or Electrical Engineering 204. Fall semester only, three hours.
