Description
COMP 322. PARALLEL COMPUTING. This course introduces students to C/C++ with an emphasis on Parallel and Distributed Computing (PD). It will include an overview of parallel architectures. Students will program both shared memory and distributed memory systems, with a focus on performance evaluations. Students will also explore concurrent (thread-based) programming with GUI elements. Prerequisite: Computer Science 222. Fall semester only, three hours.
