COMP 141. COMPUTER PROGRAMMING I. An introduction to object-oriented programming using Java in an integrated development environment. Topics include variables and their types, Boolean expressions, flow of control, arrays, methods, basic object-oriented design, file I/O, and an introduction to the Java standard library. Three hours.
