CHIN 302. ADVANCED CHINESE II. This third-year course aims to further vocabulary expansion and consolidation of essential sentence structures of contemporary Chinese through extensive reading and related conversation. Students will continue to learn both written language phrases (shumi?n yu) and daily spoken, informal phrases. Students will discuss in the Chinese language topics such as lifestyle, environment, Chinese gongfu, physical movements and injury, emotions and advice, and dating and relationships. Prerequisite: Chinese 301 or by permission. Spring semester only, three hours.
