CHEM 458. ADVANCED SYNTHESIS LABORATORY. This course is designed to give the student a broad range of advanced synthetic laboratory experiences. The course covers the synthesis of a wide range of organic, inorganic, and organometallic compounds involving specialized techniques typical of a research environment. Two labs per week. Prerequisite: Chemistry 242. Alternate years, spring semester, two hours.
