CHEM 342. PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS. An overview of physical chemistry with particular application to life sciences. Topics include thermodynamics, equilibrium, kinetics, molecular motion, molecular spectroscopy, molecular structure and modeling. Three lectures and one lab per week. Prerequisites: Chemistry 241 and Mathematics 162. Spring semester only, four hours.
