Description

BUSA 461 PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS. Business Analytics is the art and science of leveraging data across multiple organizations and people to improve business decision making. This case-based course introduces students to the challenges in implementing analytics in a business environment from the perspective of both managers and analysts. In addition to studying and employing relevant data analysis tools and models throughout the semester, students will also identify actions that managers can take based on the measured relationships. Prerequisite: Business 201, Psychology 201, Engineering 274, or Mathematics 201. Fall semester only, three hours.
