Description

431. FINANCIAL PLANNING. This course provides a comprehensive exploration of financial planning topics (in conjunction with the recommendation of the Academy of Financial Services and the CFP Board of Standards) including the financial planning process, client interactions, time value of money applications, personal financial statements, cash flow and debt management, asset acquisition, education planning, risk management, investment planning, retirement planning, special circumstances, plan integration, ethics, and the business of financial planning. Prerequisite: Business 301. Semester course, three hours.
