BUSA 211. BUSINESS COMPUTER APPLICATIONS. This course provides business majors with instruction and practical exercises using Microsoft Office to solve business problems. It integrates applications of Microsoft Office into the business environment in such a way that students learn to use the software to prepare reports, design oral presentations, collaborate with one another, and utilize spreadsheets to organize information and summarize data. Business, accounting, financial and scientific problems and applications are emphasized. This course must be taken in the freshman or sophomore year. Semester course, three hours.
