BIOL 322. THE BIOLOGY OF CANCER. This course focuses on the causes of cancer and progression of the disease. The common features of all cancers will be discussed in addition to the distinguishing characteristics of a subset of cancers. Throughout the course, therapeutic targets will be identified, and novel therapeutic approaches will be considered. Prerequisites: Biology 233 and 234. Spring semester only, three hours.
