ASTR 207. INTRODUCTION TO STARS, GALAXIES, AND COSMOLOGY. An introduction to modern astronomy with an emphasis on the nature of the universe and objects within it. Topics include the properties of stars, the stellar life cycle, galaxies, and cosmology. Includes an observational project. Spring semester only, three hours.
